Croda wins Bayer's Igniting Networks Decarbonization Excellence Award 2025

Croda’s product portfolio is large and complex, and without detailed, granular data, we lacked visibility of our emission sources and hotspots. This made it challenging to take meaningful, targeted actions to decarbonise, achieve our sustainability targets, and pass on the benefits to our customers.

To overcome this, we developed an innovative application that calculates emissions associated with our products using real manufacturing data. This granular insight allows us to understand the elements contributing to a product’s carbon footprint, design targeted solutions to reduce emissions, track progress, and share reductions with our customers.

This approach ensures that sustainability remains at the heart of everything we do.
